English Language The English Language courses are designed to improve the student's four primary linguistic skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. The courses focus on allowing students to achieve English comprehension and production fluency at a pace that is both comfortable yet challenging. Course content includes extensive instruction of vocabulary and grammar, as well as pronunciation and understanding of various English speaking countries cultures. At Fortune Hundred we very much believe in students taking a full and active part in the lessons. There won't be a moment when you are not directly involved. Over the last thirty years we have developed a curriculum that ensures while you are in the classroom you are: Using English in real-life situations where you are learning by doing, Utilizing grammar and vocabulary within a natural topic or theme, Practicing English in formal and informal discussions and activities, Improving your thinking time (the time it takes you to listen, understand and reply in English) making it quicker for you to respond, Activating and building upon your strengths in a dynamic and motivating setting, Getting attention and feedback on how to improve your weaker areas. Instructor: German Language Classes range from Beginners' Level up to the Certificate Level (Central Certificate Level/ Goethe Zertifikat B 1) for which the Fortune Hundred has been awarded a license by the Goethe Institute, in order to conduct its central examinations in Nepal. Adding to the regular classes, e. g. A1, A2 and B1, the Fortune Hundred regularly conducts special courses like “Travel Guides' Course” (Reiseleiterkurs) and the much anticipated “Intensive course” (Intensivkurs-4 hrs a day)”. The Fortune Hundred is equipped with the latest technology for teaching German, especially in the audio visual sector in a sound learning atmosphere. There are 11 trained teaching staffs and 9 others work in the administration. Chinese (Mandarin) Language Introductory Mandarin is the first in a series of six courses designed to teach you how to speak Mandarin Chinese. This course will introduce you to the basic language you will need to eat, live, and get around in Mandarin speaking countries. Since this is a language course, we recommend taking this course with a friend or group of friends. Practicing with others by speaking the language will help you learn it more effectively. Additionally, Mandarin is a tonal language, which means that in order to truly master it, you will need to say the words out loud!
